THCF Cannabis Research Forum
Submitted by thcf on Wed, 03/03/2010 - 03:37This site is a unique community forum designed to provide an ever expanding wealth of information to those interested in learning more and educating others about the benefits of cannabis.
By becoming a member of the site, you will gain access to view and post moderator approved comments about our selected topics. If you have a specific topic or article that you don’t see here, but would like to discuss, you will not have access to post new topics/articles, but we are always open to your suggestions. If you have a topic/article to suggest for posting, please send us information and any links via our contact page.
Note: THCF is working to empower and protect our patients. We tried to inform people as best we could, and though our new "medical forum" is still growing, as we continue to collaborate with community members we hope it will become even better than the first forum.
The intention was not to take the forum away, but to regroup and make it even better than before. In time this project will grow to become a great resource, like the last forum. This forum is now open to patients, doctors, media, students and activists alike to give their input to the topics.
If you have a story or topic you'd like to share, let us know. We will do our best to get the topic started for you.

Oregon NORML Global Cannabis March

Saturday, May 2, 2009 - High Noon - Pioneer Square - Portland
Oregon NORML is excited to announce that the Million Marijuana March is now the GLOBAL CANNABIS MARCH.
Now in our tenth year, we gather at Pioneer Courthouse Square at 11am and we leave the square at High Noon with a full police escort, marching through the streets of Portland to demand an end to adult marijuana prohibition.
We return to the square following the march for a all-day festival to educate the public about the benefits of medical marijuana, industrial hemp, and social cannabis use as compared to alcohol.
Cannabis-friendly bands entertain from the main stage, which also features keynote addresses from leaders in the Oregon marijuana movement.
