GRAND RAPIDS -- Allowing medical marijuana sales from the homes of those who grow is preferable to allowing stand-alone marijuana dispensaries, City Planning Director Suzanne Schulz said Thursday.

"We are going to have people doing it anyway," Schultz told the city's Planning Commission.

It’s finally official, on Monday, November 23, 2009, the MMMA reorganized with a new board of directors, a new executive director, and a clear vision for the future of this organization. In our first full meeting of the new board, minus Matt Abel who was in court, all board members accepted their appointments, and Brandy Zink was unanimously ratified as our new executive director.
